A Collaborative Project

The purpose of these videos is to appeal to the target audience.
The intended audience needs to see the beauty of the Durham
College Interactive Media and Web Design course and how the
students have the opportunity to create different projects with
real-world clients. They also need to the beauty of the animations,
the codes, the website design and the development of the different
types of projects that get done in this course.
So, that they can have an advanced idea of what the course entails
from the students’ perspective, which is often not seen or known.
A call to action should be available for the intended audience to
get in contact with the Durham College Interactive Media and Web
Design course/program, through our websites.
About The Project
The promotional videos were created to promote the Durham College
Interactive Media and Web Design course. The process used to create
these videos gives us the opportunity to revisit and practice with
the tools required.
Project Objective
In this promotional project, the obtective and the challenge were to
collaborate with all the groups in the class. This showcases how well
the Interactive Media and Web Design students work together and the
importance of teamwork to achieve important goals and in some cases a
goal as a whole.
It is important to present this standpoint to the
targeted audience because one should understand that as an Interactive
Media and Web Designer, you need to be a team player with the prospective
clients where you work together to achieve what the client needs and the
way the client needs it with your creativity.
Process
The process for creating this project is researching and brainstorming
ideas and then using Adobe Illustrator to create assets. The next step
is to use a DSLR camera to take videos then edit in premiere pro and
